Camping Rammelbeek

We visited friends that have a fixed place here throughout the year. Must say I was very positively surprised by this campsite. The little outdoor pond to swim in was nice. The inflatable mountain and circle floating in them fun. The indoor swimming pool was really nice. Separate play area for small kids and an awesome slide. Everything looked well maintained. Also cool to read about their investments into renewable energy sources for heating the showers and swimming pool. Well done guys! Even made me consider to start renting a fixed location there as well :)

A friendly welcome upon arrival. This campsite has fields and courtyards where you can camp. Sanitary facilities are in good condition and are cleaned well and you don't have to hassle with coins or cards to wash dishes or take a shower. The campsite has a shop where you can get sandwiches in the morning. The pool is not very large for swimming laps, but nice for cooling off. There is also a snack bar and a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food for a fair price. The campsite is located close to the German border, so you can easily reach Nordhorn by bike. Beautiful area for cycling. The campsite is highly recommended, especially because of the price.

We stayed at the campsite for a week, the welcome was friendly because our spot was still occupied, we received a drink on the house. Once at our spot we stood on a nice spacious field. There was soon contact with the neighbors because they also had children with them. hygiene: The toilets and shower rooms looked neat, but the water did not drain properly, meaning you were constantly standing in a puddle of water, which made it difficult to get dressed dry. Your neighbors' shower water also entered the shower stall. but in terms of hygiene and quality of the rooms it was well maintained. the camping: The campsite is spacious and consists of different parts with different accommodations, walking around the campsite was fun, especially with all the lights on. Along the way there is a playground with equipment and a bouncy castle. The swimming pool can also be found nearby. but the campsite looks cozy when you walk across it. The entrance to the campsite lacks some decoration, there was not really a square with a terrace where you can gather and sit with parents and family. The restaurant: We ate in the restaurant once and the food was delicious, the service was good and they are child-friendly in terms of food and staff. If you don't want to cook, I recommend eating there. The swimming pool: is fun for children, but we as parents were done after an hour, it is a simple swimming pool to go to for your children. Animation: the Animation and activities sometimes seemed and felt a bit tacky and sometimes not aimed at the right ages. conclusion: The campsite is located in a beautiful area with many activities in the area, which is a plus. the campsite itself is well maintained, neat and the buildings look nice. I recommend the campsite to visit with and without children.
